How we do it
Our philosophy and feeding approach
Quality & Safety
Meat and fish serve as the basis of our dog and cat pet foods and their high quality is essential for healthy nutrition.
The highest quality of ingredients used can be found in our premium range, called HFC.Read more Hide
HFC means that the ingredients selected for this dog or cat pet food recipe are sourced from the same food chain as humans. The same quality ingredients are also used in other products, depending on the product line.
Its absence from the label means that the ingredients used are not classified as identical to human food ingredients, rather as dog and cat pet foods. Almo Nature does not use discarded animal parts in any of the products, even though they are allowed by law.
At Almo Nature, veterinarians, technicians and nutritionists work hard every day to ensure that the brand’s foods are consistent with the values expressed and with our quality assurance.Read more Hide
Precise guarantee food quality, from the selection of raw materials to their preparation and conservation up to the moment they reach the pet’s food bowl.
Our checks are supplemented by periodic controls by the competent health authorities.

Almo Nature Benefit spa is 100% owned by Fondazione Capellino, an independent philanthropic non-profit organisation. The allocations to reserve are a choice consequent to the objectives of investment necessary to maintain and develop the company over the decade; they are shared with Fondazione Capellino, sole shareholder since June 28, 2019.
In 2019, the main objective of the activities has been the alignment of the company and its foreign subsidiaries to the values and positioning of the Fondazione, summarised in the new statute, as well as in the new organisation chart and in the work processes that will gradually become recognisable also from the outside. Almo Nature has become one of the five Fondazione Capellino projects; its purpose is that of producing high-quality cat and dog foods, and supporting all the other projects of the Fondazione with its profits.
You are the sole beneficiary of Almo Nature profits, if you share the values expressed by its working model: we work hard, but we need to be chosen by you all if we want to succeed. Think about it!
