Tiny Paws, Big Hearts

Tiny Paws, Big Hearts is a community-based initiative by K&K’s Pawfect Haven aimed at strengthening our capacity to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome vulnerable cats and kittens across Staffordshire. Every year, we see an increasing number of felines abandoned, injured, or born without proper care. This project will help us respond more effectively to this growing need. We are seeking grant funding to support three essential areas of our work: 1. Emergency veterinary care – covering the cost of urgent treatments, vaccinations, neutering, and medical assessments for rescued cats and kittens. 2. Essential supplies – including food, litter, bedding, toys, and enrichment materials to support physical and emotional wellbeing during rehabilitation. 3. Volunteer support – providing basic equipment and resources to help our team of dedicated volunteers continue delivering hands-on care and safe fostering environments. The project will also fund Adoption Awareness Days and local engagement campaigns to help increase rehoming rates and raise public awareness of responsible pet ownership. These efforts will share rescue success stories, promote the benefits of adoption, and encourage ongoing support through donations, volunteering, and advocacy. By investing in these areas, Tiny Paws, Big Hearts will improve welfare outcomes for cats and kittens, reduce pressure on local services, and build a more compassionate and informed community. Our goal is to give every cat in our care a second chance at life in a safe, loving forever home.

With the requested funding, Tiny Paws, Big Hearts will rescue and care for 60+ cats and kittens, provide 1,500+ days of shelter, and host 6 Adoption Awareness Days to boost rehoming rates. We’ll support 15 volunteers, run a 3-month awareness campaign reaching 10,000+ people, and aim for a 90%+ rehoming success. This will improve animal welfare, increase community support, and ensure more cats find safe, loving homes.
