IMPORTANT NOTICE
As stated in the Companion for Life Call for Projects regulations, the closing of the voting phase on 22nd October 2025 does not immediately coincide with the announcement of the seven winning projects. A few days are required to carry out the final count and, most importantly, to verify the validity of the votes and documentation received. This ensures maximum fairness and transparency throughout the process.
As we are currently involved in an important campaign that will finish on 27th October, the official announcement of the seven winning projects will now take place on Thursday, 30th October 2025 (instead of 27th October).
We want to thank all the organisations and everyone who voted for their support and patience. Very soon, we will find out together which projects will receive funding from the Companion for Life 2025 Call for Projects.
£45,000 split among 7 projects by non-profit organisations promoting the well-being of dogs and cats.
A huge thank you to the entire Reintegration Economy Community for your enthusiastic participation in the voting!
In recent weeks, the Reintegration Economy Community has been enthusiastically mobilised to support projects dedicated to the welfare of dogs and cats through their votes. Thanks to everyone’s participation, the voting phase of the Companion for Life Call for Projects has been a great success.
Congratulations to the associations that presented their initiatives, and to everyone who, with their votes, helped make it possible to allocate the funds provided by the Call for Proposals.
So, what phase are we in now?
From 2nd April to 19th June 2025, each interested non-profit organisation may submit its project on this website in the areas covered by the call. Each application must include a detailed description and all the documentation required by the call.
An international commission will check that the submitted projects are eligible, that is, that they meet the formal requirements set out in the Call for Projects. No merit evaluation will be carried out. The goal is to select the compliant projects that will move on to the next phase, which is the public vote.
From 24th July to 22nd October 2025, online voting will be open for projects deemed eligible by the Commission.
Users from across the UK will be able to vote for the projects they believe are most deserving, helping to determine the final ranking. Each person may vote for multiple projects, but only once per project.
This stage will be a crucial opportunity for associations to activate and engage their network of supporters and friends.
