To prevent the suffering of unwanted puppies and kittens born due to lack of a neutering of cats and dogs and the associated suffering due to cruelty in how they are treated and killed. Descripción del contenido del proyecto en resumen
To develop an effective neutering programme in the local community for dogs and cats. The goal will be to engage with the local community of dog and cat owners who cannot afford this service and invite them to allow their pet to be spayed. This has already been met positively as an idea by the local community. As well as this any dogs rescue to Kiki's will be neutered as they are currently. This will be complimented by an education programme, particularly to younger members of the community who are often affected negatively by seeing the consequences of unwanted litters. The neutering will be undertaken by local veterinary surgeons who already have a relationship with us and are willing to undertake the project. The hope would be that the costs of neutering can be streamlined through an efficient system with dedicated neutering clinics near to the target population.
Resumen de los principales resultados esperados
To be able to start the project as soon as funding available. Without funding the organisation just does not have the available resources to start this and can only respond to the consequences of the lack of this initiative.
