Where local regulations permit, used litter can be disposed of:
- With household organic waste for composting
- In the toilet*
- In your home compost system, if available

Preparation
To help reduce tracking, place a mat in front of the litter box.

First Use
Pour approximately 4.5 lb of Soft Texture litter into a clean litter box. This amount is ideal for a 12 × 16 in tray used by a cat weighing around 9 lb.

Daily Maintenance
Remove clumps using a large, mesh scoop. Dispose of clumps in the toilet* or compost.
*Always check local regulations. Flush only clumps, never unused litter.

Weekly Refill
Add approximately 1 lb of fresh litter (for a 9 lb cat) to maintain proper depth and help prevent sticking to the bottom of the tray.

Monthly Cleaning
When cleaning the litter box, there is no need to discard all remaining litter. Since waste forms compact clumps, the unused litter stays clean and can continue to be used.

Disposal of Empty Bag
The packaging is made of PE-LD 04 (low-density polyethylene). It is 100% recyclable and can be recycled with other plastics.
